Starting to understand pic posting, just added some current pics of my project in the gallery under ben . I have 6 SD cards full of pics documenting the process. If any one is interested I can start posting some of them in the builders blog. can someone tell me how and what is the best size to post?...

Front axle assy. less brake drums,hubs and driveflanges = 305 lbs.

My 1953 M37 with it's early trans has a short shift lever and the bolt is in the front. My 1963 USMC B1 with it's late trans has a longer shift lever with the bolt still in the front,that makes 3 different shifters. The more i learn the less i know.

tune up parts
I picked up part of my tune up parts at my Local auto parts store today ( points, plugs, condenser ) but they were unsure about the rotor and cap. I want to use the 24 volt water proof ignition. Is the cap and rotor still available from NAPA or other parts stores?

Thank you for Your feedback, it is very helpfull. I am interested in the NAPA part number. Should I be concerned about damaging the sidewalls on older tires

I got my cd today, I had to download Adobe reader 9, other than that it works fine. It contains a lot of M37 stuff along with some WWII TM's, not bad for half the cost of a reprint TM.
