Axle Assembly complete weight front and rear

Post by Oddjob »

Anyone by chance know the weight of the front and the rear axle assembly's by chance... Ran across a set I can't pass up and just want to make sure I don't overload my bitty pick-up... :D

Thinking ahead for future spare parts...

Hi Oddjob,

Well......the hog's head weighs about 80 lbs by itself. I'd assume the rest of the assembly has to be at least that with the front being a bit heavier. So to play it say I'd guestimate the total weight of both axle assemblies is probably around 400 lbs max. I'd think anything with 4 wheels could haul that.....heck that's just two fat people!
