m37 axle

Post by squeeky0_50 »

Hello, anyone know the distance in inches from floor to bottom of axle assembly for jackstand clearance to remove 4 tires. My truck is on its way home to me and I have no idea how tall a jackstand I need under the 4 corners of the axle. Would appreciate any info, thanks.

any standard height 3 ton jackstand will be plenty good for your task, here is a example:

I bought two Powerbuilt stands about a year ago and haven't had any problems with them . There rated at 3 tons and I find them easier to use then the regular jack stands .

15" from driveway to under side of axle housing with used 900-16 NDT.
