Hey Tuko,
Don't tick off the Boss-that's the fastest way to grind down to a halt! That's an impressive list of work for such a short time-I've not had any available time to work on mine, just pulling it in and out of the garage when it's time to display the flag....

Re: New member hello and some questions!
Don't forget the little things, like the vents on the transmission, T-case and axles. A clogged vent will allow pressure to build as the lube heats up and it will relieve itself by blowing out seals.
Re: New member hello and some questions!
will add that to the list!
Re: New member hello and some questions!
Warren. Where's the vent on the transmission ? I got the ones on the axles, transfer case and steering box. But I didn't see any on the tranny !

You could be right, Sal. It's been more than a few days since I replaced all my driveline vents and my memory doesn't go much farther back than today's breakfast!!

Re: New member hello and some questions!
Early models had the ignition filter ( to prevent radio interference ) on the firewall. It was moved inside the distributor on later models.

I'm sure many of the members on the site can look at this pic and have it bring back som memories of your restorations!

Re: New member hello and some questions!
You are so right! In this photo I don't see the ignition filter on the fire wall, did you take it off already ?
Re: New member hello and some questions!
