Yes that handle is spec. for hand operation of the wipers it doesnt hurt them at all most all mil vehicles had some sort of hand lever on the vac type wipers for that purpose

I dont believe there was any formula to the 60 and 120 oil gauges, just what each vehicle manufacturer chose to use. And if thats the Sid I know he is the mvcc's(mvpa now) orignal m-37 expert an has been in business for a long time.

In reference to the first post the orignal oil gauge for the m-37 is supposed to be the 120# gauge, you can change it to the 60# range gauge but be aware that each range gauge has a matching sending unit and if you mix them up you will still have an incorrect reading.

In the early days engines were bolted right to the frame, chrysler first made an used what we now call motor mounts and for the purposes of marketing called it 'floating power' it was a big improvement over other cars of the time for overall comfort in the vehicle.

Yes it is an old M.V.C.C. decal, it reorganized under the current name M.V.P.A. (they still use that same decal) its the largest military vehicle club, you can visti their site here
