Part Identification Help Needed

Post by w30bob »

Hi Guys,

I need someone to tell me what these steel plate parts are, and if they're M37 parts. I got them in a box of supposedly M37 parts, but can't identify them. They're both identical, meaning not left and right or a mirrored pair. They've got OD paint on them and the two holes on the vertical flange have cutouts for a wide shoulder or for the head of the bolt itself. Let me know what you think.

thanks,
bob

The larger one is for the G-741 trucks.

The small one may be for WW2 or an industrial motor.

I like to look and see if I could ID the part prior to looking at the replies. Had the large one not the small one.

No sweat Ed.....there is no "Large" on or "Small" one....they're identical. They just look different due to my poor photographic skills. Once you guys mentioned the oil filter bracket I confirmed that's it.

thanks again,

It looked like the one on it's side was a little smaller. My mistake.

OK so they are both on their side the one to the left appears to be different. Maybe new glasses would help.
