m43 with 318 e-brake setup?

Post by billy »

i bought my ambulance and the po installed the 318
but the e brake handle and connecting rod is missing
the brake itself is still there
the t-case levers are mounted on a big metal plate that is part of the conversion
does the e brake lever go on the same big bolt that the t case levers are on?
and do i use a cable or?

Billy,

I found a couple more pictures that might help and e-mailed them to you. The M37's used a rod to connect the parking brake lever to the band mechanism.
Thanks,
Will

Ended up inventing a bracket
Nothing that was there was going to be solid enough.
I bought a 3 foot threaded rod a clevus and i heim and fiddled with it until I had a rod that would work.
Everything is fully functional now.
