Its funny, I tried to keep it somewhat old school. A kind of, what Chrysler Corporation may have put in a 1968 M37, if they had their choice of parts. Roadrunner engine, 727 trans, and 205 transfer case with power locked Dana 60's. I even went as far as to use old Dodge motorhome shifter, and she has no electronics at all. Points, manual voltage regulator, and manual choke. The Hummer wheels are just tough looking and super functional with the run flats.
I have built some high end muscle cars, and several race cars, but this thing is just cool. Chrysler and the Army got it right when they put the styling on this thing, way under powered, but super tough. With the mods I'm hoping to be able to drive it anywhere. I'll post the driving impressions as soon as I have them.
