horn keeps honking

I just put in a new wire harness and hooked up the horn but the horn starts honking as soon as I hook upthe battery,what did I do wrong,

I had the same issue. The horn is energized when the circuit is completed by the pressing the horn button in the center of the steering wheel. This grounds the circuit and completes it. So my issue was with the horn button mechanism inside the center portion of the steering wheel. Once I corrected that, all was good. Hope this helps.

I will check that .I thought that I got a wire crossed at the horn but I understand that u can put the wires on either side and it doesn't matter...thanks for the info I will get on that..

fixed it!!!!!! I had to trim down the metal stud ,it made continuous contact with the horn cap.works fine now.thanks for the help

Glad to see this post, as mine sometimes blows when the wheel is turned. Now I know what to do-thanks!
