Cargo bed bracket

Post by T.R. »

Would someone be able to give me the measurements for the cargo bed bow tie down bracket, I just picked-up the HF compact bender and would like to try to bend up this bracket. Thanks.

What measurements do you need? I currently am restoring one and am working on the bed at present.

Snowdad,
I need the measurements of the bracket that goes on the side of the cargo bed just above the tool compartment that is used to tie down the cargo bows when they are not in use. It looks like a draw handle made out of flat stock.
Thanks, T.R.

I think both sides should be the same, or am I wrong. The bracket is close to the top of the bed rail and runs parallel with it. Pictures would be helpful.

You can measure the knockouts on your truck bed for bolt center locations.

Well I tried to make the brackets yesterday, the HF bender will only make a 1.25" back-to-back bend. So I will have to find a different bender or someone that has two brackets that they can part with.
