Voltage Regulator rebuilds

Post by nanuke1 »

I know this topic has been addressed many times but I have found a company in California that specializes in rebuilding the voltage regulators for the M37's. They do AutoLite and Delco and are very reasonable and also just plain good people that will take care of you. They will custom rewind coils if needed and also adjust your regulator WITH the aluminum cover on to make sure the magnetic field is set precisely. There name is C.P. Generator, Eric Perez at (213) 746-1060. Hopefully this is ok with you guys that I posted this info because I have spent many days trying to find someone who can fix these things and also know what they are doing.

Interesting :? Usually magnetic field interference is related to ferrous metals such as iron and steel and not non-ferrous metals like aluminum.

Also since the covers have no adjusting holes in them I wonder how they would adjust the regulators with the covers on?
