Fuel tank installation question

Post by SydneyM37 »

I'm in the process of re installing my tank, and it has been some time since i removed it.

Logic tells me that the two heavier duty straps go on the bottom, but in trying to make an arrangement to work, i can only make it happen if the two lightweight straps go under the tank.

an anyone confirm this, i did take pictures, but i cannot zoom in enough to make it out.

Thanks

(taking a coffee break, )

Sydney37,
The thicker straps go on the top, even down under, the thinner straps go on the bottom.

Thanks for that, mine is all in now.

Looking at your tank makes me realise my tank is aftermarket, as it squared off, no rounded edges.

Thanks
