I believe the drive shaft was black from the factory. whould the u joints have been painted too or put in after painting and left unpainted?

If your talking about the prop shafts and joints well I painted all mine black.
(Had to get a dig in about prop shafts in case Lifer is reading this !!)

so when they left the factory everything was black? It makes sense to do that but wasnt sure
