My M37 had been converted to 12 volts when I got it. It has a six volt starter as is common with these conversions. My mechanical starter switch that is mounted on the top of the starter went bad. I ordered one from Vintage Power Wagons, but it wasn't the right one. Does any one out there have either an used starter or just the switch. It is impossible to tell what this starter came off of, but the tag has this info:
Chrysler part no.920344 Autolite no. MAW-4029
I have a 318 V8 I am planning to put in this summer and I hate to buy a new starter just to use for six months or so. Any help would be appreciated.

starter switch
Yes, that's right. That metal housing with the spring plunger contact that is attached to the top of the starter. Vintage Power Wagons said there were several different ones used, but they only carried one.
