FIXING A FLAT
I know this might sound dumb but. What type of patch do you use to fix a hole in your tubes?

Re: FIXING A FLAT
A cold patch, such as you find in a bicycle tire/tube repair kit will work. A hot patch may hold up a little longer, but I haven't seen them in the parts houses for years.

Re: FIXING A FLAT
Most people are running tubeless radials these days. That's why tubes and patch kits are darned near impossible to find. Technology rears its ugly head and time marches onward, leaving us poor Luddites behind.

Hi Sal,
How did you get the tire off the rim?? I did not see a tire repair Shop capable of taking down a split ring wheel in your garage.

Re: FIXING A FLAT
SAL, The engine has never run better. When I pulled #6 piston, to change the rod I found the top ring was broken in two spots, it never scratched the wall. John at Midwest Military sent me one ring. I can feel the extra power, especially when going over the Marine Pkwy Bridge. No leaks, no funny noises anymore.
