Re: MVPA FORUM...
Sounds like time for me to chime in on the MVPA. I bounce around several forums on a " as I feel like it " basis as old dodge guy or variations on that. I do G 503 and G838 quite a bit, rarely steel soldiers ( as noted above, they seem to anger easily and on the oddest things), and M...

Re: 2 truck same problem
OK, it does sound sorta like a fuel problem, But.......I had a similar problem that was electrical. Truck ran fine until warmed up, then it would sputter, cough and quit, just like out of fuel. It was the filter capacitor on the input to the distributor. Either change out the distributor or if you h...

Re: Would like some help assessing a M37 for sale
Thank you guys, I appreciate the input. I have been around the M37's for a long...long time. I have owned mine over 40 years, and have a general idea of worth, but want a more up to date estimate. For example, I bought mine for $100....... but in 1970... I think. I have in general kept up ...

Would like some help assessing a M37 for sale
Hello all, I have been approached by a person to assess the value of a nice M37, so they can then put it up for sale. After I told them the value was $200 and I would take it off their hands, I told them I would help them find a value. So.....does anybody here do this type of help, and what re...

Though I am new to this site, I'll give you a welcome to the MVPA. It's a great bunch of folks, 98% of whom will bend over and do cartwheels to help others. In all of the years I have been a member, (34 years) there have been very (and I mean VERY) few bad apples. But do know, in a group this large,...

If I see this right, you are in Wisconsin, right? Ask the wife if she would like a trip to the midwest? I know Kansas is hot in July (BOY DO I KNOW) but in early July you could take her on a road trip out this way. You could drop her off in an air conditioned motel and walk over to the world wide co...

Anybody know a good parts source for winch parts
Any body out there know a good parts source for winch parts for the M37 that I don't have to sell right arm or leg to buy them? I need brass bull gear and drive shaft, and seal and gasket kit. The yahoo I bought the winch from had replaced shear pin with grade 8 bolt  and you know what that m...

Thank you all, I look forward to this group. Yes, I do have the original truck, won't part with her. One time I was asked if I had to choose between my wife or the truck. My answer was that as much as I love my wife, I would help her pack. (married 34 years) I have been the owner of the truc...

Most of the holes I see in your photo are factory. The large one in the front of the bed (with cover around it) is power feed to radio systems, usually found only on earlier trucks. What year is your truck? The set of holes on the side are for radio antenna mounts. The larger one is for the antenna ...

introduction
Hi all, just joined up. Is there a place for introductions? I did not see one, so here goes. I have been nuts for these trucks since we got one for the farm in about 1970. It was bought for me to drive, but used a lot on the farm. I drove it to high school for years, then my sister drove it, but it ...
