It's official. I am now a member of the MVPA. I got my first issue of Army Motors and found it an enjoyable read. One thing I found interesting is the MV hobby is so worldwide. I guess it never dawned on me. Of course with the vast amount of vehicles left in Europe and other parts of the world after WWII I guess it would be a popular hobby :)

Army Motors does make sure you know there's an overseas interest. I'd guess about 50 percent of the magazine's event coverage is overseas in both # of articles and size of articles. Doesn't seem to quite balance with membership distribution.

Let me offer my congratulations as well, David! Too bad you signed up just a bit too late, for the Army Motors issue earlier this year has the entire M37 story in it, with tons of pictures. Hey, you might be able to get the back issue-I'll see which one it is and will let you know!

Though I am new to this site, I'll give you a welcome to the MVPA. It's a great bunch of folks, 98% of whom will bend over and do cartwheels to help others. In all of the years I have been a member, (34 years) there have been very (and I mean VERY) few bad apples. But do know, in a group this large, you will find one or two. Most of the MVPA are excellent in helping out other fans of our toys. Enjoy this site and your MVPA membership!
