Re: Winch Cable Core
I have to Agree on the Fiber Core.
Much easier to handle on wrap around the drum.
The original wire rope was fiber core.

It's Very Close but not 100%
The batteries are 22NF if I remember A little short
Original Hold down was used.

Well it's not original for sure.
Someone's addition.
Follow the wires and see where they go.
My guess is a sick horn?

You don't have to remove bell housing.
Clutch will drop out the bottom, as will the flywheel if you go that far.

Looks Good!
What is the group number of those batteries?
I used 22NF batteries and those appear to fit a little better.

Off road is always a great time even when things don't go well,
But makes for good laughs later.
The key is Common Sense, and a solid truck.
Looks like you have Both!
Awesome!

Re: New M37 owner
Welcome from Il.
Looks like a decent truck to start with.
My wife enjoys the M37 and will drive it.
She won't drive the M35A1 but will help me with it, by
Sitting in the seat and operating various controls when needed.
Yours will come around.

Re: M series electrical problem
I agree with a weak coil or connection problem. However I will share this My M37 runs perfect. Has for many years. One time it developed symptoms close to yours. I thought fuel or vapor lock, but ended up being the Charging System over charging (high voltage) and over heating the coil. I noticed the...

Re: Wanted M37 hat
I wear mine every year at least once or twice at the IA power wagon rally.
Have to rotate between g741 hat and my pw hats.
Most at the rally know what g741 means, but out in public here at home I've had to explain it
A few times.

All is not lost.
Now that robi has linked it to the g741 site, from what I understood is, go to the picture link.
Click register and set up a user name and password.
I don't think you can use the same name and password you have for here.
