Re: M37B3 Project

My shoes are now designated working in the garage shoes  These things always give anecdotes to tell future generations, like when I spent an entire morning grinding the hood to check for possible IDs till the point of making a literal mess of the room with all the palette color green can provi...

Congrats on the acquisition, now the fun begins! :D (I'm being a bit ironic too) ....is nearly rust free except the square tube If you're talking about the tool box on the bed don't stress out, usually is a mess after decades. Mine was destroyed, and after rebuild I've put special attention with the...

Re: My 1952 Dodge M37 re-building process

Hi everyone. It is been long. Well, the thing is that 2024 is kicking hard in my economy, and had to put the M37 on complete hiatus in February. This, of course, started raising issues with the shop because they wanted to move forward and had no money to drop. Nada. So I pay the last bill (....after...

Re: M37CDN "Gertrude"

Glad all this hard work is giving results, Rob. Note that before acquiring my tailgate (the truck lost its original who knows when...) the ones I was offered had the lower corners above the hinge rusted. I don't know why but the frames on the sides were rusted too (I've seen tailgates having a thick...

Indeed Dennis, I have already reached out to people in the US for this. As usual, the complications raise at the time of shipping. :?

Re: My 1952 Dodge M37 re-building process

Some update after months of complete hiatus. New gaskets kit for the T-214. The important one is the head's but everything is useful. As stated before, there is a chance there's a crack in one (or more) cylinders. But after removing the head when passing the finger on the it's surface, you can tell ...

Hi PoW. Even though I think that's wrong, because the handle has its own place to rest, I have already tried what you suggest (and took pictures). The tip of the handle is not able to fit, and the head of the ax cannot get inside the holder properly. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53339627461_8...

Re: Does the M37 share the same pioneer tools with the WC's...?

Ok, to put an end to this topic the M37 pioneer rack I have is 31 x 96,5 cm. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53339868260_a51ebc6d0b_z.jpg The shovel I got is from WW2 and is 94 cm long, the blade at its widest 23,6 cm; and when laid facing down the floor it elevates about 15 cm (big curvature). ...
