Just adjusted my valves, helps to have a feeler gage with the 45 Degree bent tips for the rear engine valves. Tire off, on jack stand, removed inner fender well, took maybe 15 minutes to get to the valves. Precise adjustment took a lot longer. I can't imagine doing it with a hot running motor. I had new cork gaskets, slight seepage, and now have the '70's era OEM rubber ones, came very protectively plastic and paper wrapped. It was suggested to me by the vendor to put a little Permatex #2 non-hardening on both sides. Also bought new OEM cover plates, to be sure they are absolutely straight. Rubber ones seem about the same hardness as the cork ones.
Any experience with my choices out there to suggest to me?
