Some of My M37 Resto. Pics Album

Post by Carter »

In random order a new album is up thanks to Tony who did all the work. These are pix taken of only some of the work that was needed to bring my truck back to life. I have many others that will be added in the future. Look in the Pics section under Carter Davidson, click on the thumbnail then click on the broken image icon for full size. It's show and tell time folks, I'll show you and you tell me what you think...or ask questions. :D

WOW! Great photo album, Carter. A lot of hard work put into that truck, and it came out very well. Not surprising you won 1st place at Aberdeen.

Congratulations!

Thank you M 42, I built it the best way I could with none of that "Oh, that's good enough." rather I spent thousands of hours and dollars and took extra time to do it right. This is the truck I used to drive when I was in the National Guard and was lucky to find it so I built it back to the way it was when I was first assigned to be it's driver, I even took it to the 1968 Baltimore City riots.

Well, now that you have your truck done, they are having riots in Baltimore again.

Are you looking for a nostalgic road trip?

Carter,

Very nice record of the process. I always enjoy seeing what people started with and then transformed into a drivable piece of history. :D

M-42, not much fun the first time, no sleep for almost a week, living on C Rats and fueled by gallons of coffee. Talk about jumpy troopers, later we were federalized under the command of 101st. ABN.
Another problem is today I am reinstalling the oil pan and new filter, pulled the pan to clean out the gunk from it's bottom and replace the leaking gasket. So, it's what we used to call Dead Lined.

Bert, I have a lot more, just need to sort and post them, I kept a photo record of most every thing I did.
