Crashed M37 pics from the '60's
Thought you might be interested in seeing these. My dad was stationed in germany in the 60's as a wrecker driver. There was an M37 wreck that ,if I recall, was due to a little too much german beer. My dad was neither driving nor the passenger, though. Sounds like germany was a fun place at that time. When they had free time they would take different army vehicles out and see what they could get stuck. He had the wrecker to pull them out.
Hopefully the pic links work.

Here is the scene of the crash, before getting the tow. Hopefully this one works better. Post worked much better. Right clicked the picture instead of copying from the address bar. Thanks!!!

Great pictures, a couple of new parts and the rest of the damage should buff right out.

Looks like a young Mario Andretti wannabe was driving that truck. He was probably just looking for the Autobahn; not his fault......

From the other pics I have it looks like it was a pretty good time over there. Have some of him loading a tank on the wrecker, early jeeps, heavier trucks. Even breaking down some rims and tires. Must not have been that fun, he always "encouraged" me to go to school and skip the service.

The wrecker picture looks like it was taken in Nuremberg at Merrill Barracks. Am I right?
