Fender patch panel

Post by 002 »

I am a newbie and just getting started. I purchased a 54 m-37 in fair shape to do a complete Rest/Mod 360 swap. I am looking for front fender repair panels, that have been reproduced in the past. The fender below the headlight and its support are well beyond repair on my project. It would seem the entire run is into the hands of those that need them, except mine. Any for sale out there? Thanks, 002

Hi 002,

Did you try the normal go-to guys, ie, VPW and John at Midwest? VPW shows them in their catalog....not sure about John.

That sucks.....and OUCH!! I dug around on the web a bit and found out those patch panels were made by a company called Jeep Panels Plus. But apparently they went bust a couple of years back and I can't find anyone else listing those panels. I've run across used fenders for about $100 each, but haven't seen any lately. So 002 I'm not sure what to tell ya at this point.

Any good metal fabricators on here that can help out?

regards,
bob
