Deuce wheel adapters?

Post by tbone1004 »

Been seeing a lot of 900x20 deuce rims and tires for the cheap on craigslist as guys are switching to super singles and what not. I like the smaller sidewall but same profile as the tires we have now, and am thinking about snagging a couple. Has anyone tried machining an adapter plate or having one made to adapt the 5x6 7/8 to 6x8 3/4?

We have done it to use the 10 lug 5-ton rims on Dodges. The same can be done to adapt the 6 lug 2 1/2 ton rims.

did you do wheel spacers with the new bolt pattern or custom hubs?

Custom hubs would be 3 times off the chart in cost. Spacers are what we used.
