Bracket
All the ones I've seen are mounted on the left front of the bed, above the cargo storage door. I have also seen two mounted on the same side one in front of and one behind the wheel well. I do not recall ever seeing any mounted on the right side but I am sure its possible that some were though.

They were mounted either right or left side, fronts normally, if more than one radio may have been mouted on the rear.

wow its like a christmas wish book "midwest" Thanks John
The ant. mount in the top post (ab/243) is for the older tube type radios, the later transistorized sets(introduced 1966) used different mount designs. The radios and antennas were mounted according to the installation inst. for each type of radio set. However it was necessary for antennas to be as far from each other as possible so they were mounted in each corner of the bed. If you have only one coat of paint on the bed you can find the knockouts for the ant. cable on the bed sides (outside), there arent knockouts for the mounting bolts. Radio sets were installed starting w/ the front drivers side always.
