replaceing windshield glass, i have a question.

where can i find the rubber filler that goes between the glass and the windshield channel. i have the new u-shaped weatherstripping for the frames but not the filler.

I looked for them ,and came up with nothing. I checked a lot of old car and truck rubber suppliers. I ended up using black rtv.

I got mine at Midwest military. I think they keep it in stock.

Try a glass shop if you want to buy local. Specially someone who does automotive/industrial equipment glass (Glass Doctor come to mind) They should have the molding or something simial to it.

They will use a cork type of bedding, not a true fit, but it will work.

i did not get around to calling midwest, picked up a tube of black silicone at home depot instead.
