Getting a pic off the pic gallery ?

Now that I have posted a bunch of pics in the gallery. How do you access them from the gallery to put in a post ?

Hi Tom,

I opened two tabs on the web browser, one is open to http://www.g741.org/photogallery/main.p ... temId=8848 which is located above labeled "Pics" and the other is open to the g741.org site.

When you are in your photo gallery right click on photo of choice, scroll down to the properties and then left click. A small box opens with the properties, Left click and drag accross the address (URL) then right click on that and copy.

This is what you will right click and paste between the "Img" that is listed above.

Okay, lets try this,

When you see the properties box open, the address (URL) only shows about two lines of address code. You will need to start at the upper left hand corner of that address and highlight the whole three lines of code. It looks like you are only lacking the serial number part of the picture.

The URL for the image itself is obtained by right clicking on it and then select "Copy image url" from the drop down menu. Then paste that url between the two img dodads .

The url you used was the page url:
http://www.g741.org/photogallery/main.p ... temId=8853

Step 1: go to the pic you want to post, right click on it, go to "copy image location".

Step 2: Go to Post a reply (this box im typing in right now), in the post a reply toolbar hit the Img button. It will put a set of quotes up. Paste your "image location" you obtained in step 1 between the 2 quotes and hit submit reply. should put up the pic like I just did.

OK, I put in "testpic.jpg" between the img's as you can see from previous post.
Still failed.
Any thoughts?

open the actual pic in the gallery so its on your computer screen. then right click on it and save. You ,may only be saving the coded name of the pic, not the actual link!

BTW... In the pic is my great grandson, Airman First Class,
Hunter Iannacone, age 8, sitting on the back of a Burma Jeep
which we drove to the Vets Day Parade in Phoenix. More
