Tailgate Prep.
Hey Crew. Started removing the extension from the end of the bed. I guess the Fire Department had some sort of a tank in it?? Anyway, I've added a couple of pictures to the end of my photo album. Don't understand what's going on anymore. Can't see with my glasses off and can't see with them on?? I used to be able to trim my beard with a cutting torch, not any more! Good thing I can use a grinder! (While cutting, all openings and vents were well covered!)

Re: Tailgate Prep.
Was the pintle hitch there before? that seams to be the first thing that gets removed.

Re: Tailgate Prep.
The pintle-hitch was there when we bought the truck. It was covered by the bed extension which made it unusable until now! Didn't realize the left side shackle bracket was broken, just thought the shackle was gone. (whoops)

Re: Tailgate Prep.
I assume to fit the tank in the bed, they also altered the inner fenders so there was 48" between them? looks to be a step in the inner fender near the bed floor.

Re: Tailgate Prep.

Re: Tailgate Prep.
Just don't upgrade to the 39.5x13.5R17's like I did. I rub the inner fender wells.
