This is a pic I borrowed from Bill L. These babies are almost impossible to find now, I think Bill had some made a while back? I have finished the passenger side, almost finished the drivers. If you go to my webshots page, do a search for Mostly Doors, Mostly M-Series, it should land @ this album?[/url]

My truck has the door stop shown above on the driver's door but has a webbing stop on the passenger side. Both appear to be original, as there are no signs of repair on either side. Is this a "normal" configuration?

Nice job Bruce! I've seen the doors with the webbing set up and wondered if it was original as well.

Mine is as Lifer's. My driver's door has the stop intact, but the passenger door's is missing and someone riveted a piece of what appears to be firehose canvas covering that has since been torn off and doesn't work. I'd like to replace my door stop but are they that hard to come by these days? What else could one use?

Had massive od strapping w/ huge retaining plates, 2 or 3 massive screws on each end!

Before touch up.
These hinge pivots came from VPW a while back, $5 each, some nice guy on ebay has been trying to sell them for $39.95....EACH! This is a necessary repair, done either way, because w/o it, the door tends to fly out/open into the bottom of either fender. My old drivers door had so much bondo.
