Re: Final bed painting today, with Pictures...
And more:
What next?
PTO install
Refurb front bumperettes
Strip, paint, install rear bumperettes
Swap transfer case
Start Cab stripping
I better get the rear bumperettes done so I don't risk that pristine rear panel--thanks John Bizal!!

Thanks Joe,
Weather highs will be in the low 50s mid next week--time to hunt down a space heater for the garage....

Looks good. Don't jepordize what you have already done. When the weather says no more, stop painting.
Re: Final bed painting today, with Pictures...
Today will be my last shot this year, with temps in the 60s-the bottom falls out on Tuesday, and snow is predicted by this coming weekend. I'll get back on some of the mechanicals via garage and space heater-can't risk painting in that type of domain....
Thanks to all!

Well, no shot today either-had a loose filling so off to the dentist. Rain and snow is moving in, so I'll be moving into the cave for any further work until spring.

Re: Final bed painting today, with Pictures...
I always get a little jelous of the guys who live in the warm southern states like Texas who post pics of them painting in t-shirts and shorts in January....while I'm hunkered down in my house wishing I could even get to the garage to turn a wrench....

M37s are HMMWV in my world!
Re: Final bed painting today, with Pictures...
Yeah, when I lived in California I had year-round weather to cooperate when I wanted to work on the M but no garage. Now I have a garage but need a space heater for the winter stretch. I do have an opportunity the next two days to spray primer then color coat on my front and rear bumperettes (spent 4 hours today repairing the fronts-welding up some torn up holes and cracks on the corners). My welding skills are improving but I still have a way to go.
