Differential companion flange torque

Post by Gerry »

I cant find the torque value for the flanges on the front and rear Differentials. Finally got time to put drive shafts on but cant tighten the flanges without torquing :(
Thanks,
Gerry

Thanks,
I thought the manual said 300 but that seemed like a lot so I wasnt sure if I was reading wrong.

Just checked my manual and you are correct, the torque should be a minimum of 300 ft. lbs. per TM9-8031. So much for my memory.

Frank,
Thanks for the info. It was confusing to me reading the manual since they have so many flanges.
