Windshield glass sealing...

I've found the 3 sided molded seals for the outside of the inner windshield frame, but where do you get the seal that seals the glass to the inner windshield frame do you just do a bead of silicone?

My two inner windshield frames with glass have the glass cracked in them and the frames themselves are rusted badly and probably will not be salvage-able... So I purchased two used ones one with a nice pane of glass in it another with a nice frame but I still will have to replace the glass...

any decent autoglass shop should have it. Its a rubbery tar paper like strip that is called glass welting.
