Can anyone ID this winch?
Sure looks like MU8-10-L
5 15 68
Can anyone interpret these markings? Can 5 15 68 be the date of manufacture?

I found the Paccar reference the other day googling. The M = mechanical PTO driven and H=hydraulic Pump/Motor driven. The winches themselves are the same. If you noticed the MU8 was the oldest MU series still shown on their web site.

I am not sure but I suspect it is a civvy late 50's or early 60's MU8 that was repaired with a leg off a MU2 and then installed on a military restoration project years ago.
