My truck has the auxiliary power supply on the passenger side of the dash. I was hoping to find some period gear to hook up to it while at shows. Only I have no idea what could hook up to it.
Does anyone know what type of items or accessory's plugged into this outlet? Thanks.
Sorry for the bad pic of the outlet...

Thanks M-thrax!
I'm starting to see why they discontinued it.
Really not much use was it...
Mines the older style two prong connection, so I guess I'm off to look for info on the hand held spotlight.
I've also heard rumors of GI's making their own food heaters back then...Anyone else know of these?

Great pic Bill L!
Boy thats got a nice long cord on it...and a pistol grip! I might have to find myself one of those.
Did it work ok? Put out a nice bright beam?

Worked just fine but was to nice to have beat around the cab. Notice the bracket where it looks like you can mount it in a frame and make a stationary light out of it.

I noticed that bracket...Looks like you could use that to stow it. Strapped to a short pipe mount...or mount it on a pole tripod for display at shows. Maybe for a static mount on the truck?
I'm curious what it was really used for now...

Ahhhh says the blind man. I see....
Any chance you remember where you acquired it? I've been doing a little looking. Bugger seems a bit rare.

Long, long, long time ago in the dark ages I found it on Ebay. I think it was $25
