mmmmmm.....Leftovers

Ok guys, so after assembly and 4.5 years I have these two gems leftover. The one is a hasp similar to the one on the battery box but for the life of me I can't recall where it goes? The other appears to be a 45 degree angle bracket that may be for a spring? Although I have the brake and clutch springs attached to L shaped brackets which attached to the frame. Although this bracket looks as if it may be for two bolts? Some type of little brace? The hasp did come off my truck as it has the Dodge fasteners and is the same Fire Engine Red my truck was.
Help!

Red clasp is the hold down for the passenger seat bottom to cab body.
If you look at the panel in front of the batery box it should have 2 holes to match.
The other looks like one of the brackets for the fender mount gerry can holder.

Hi David, rainy here on a Saturday, so I had a little computer time this morning.

The latch assembly is definitely for the passenger seat bottom cushion. The angled piece goes on the bottom of the master cylinder mounting bracket. The end that has the angle cut fastens on the bottom bolt that holds the master cylinder on its bracket, while the other end is bolted to the frame rail web. Provides reinforcement for the master cylinder bracket during hard brake pedal applications. It really needs to be in place if you are using the standard non-boosted system. Not so important if you have a power boosted system in place, as actual pedal pressure applied is much less with a power boosted system.

Thank you gentlemen I looked all over the truck but I could find any bolt holes that matched the hasp. Reason being when I made my patch for the hole in the seat box I covered over them I looked under my passenger seat and sure enough. Nothing my drill & die grinder won't fix.

Rained here today also. I managed to install my vintage Stewart Warner mechanical oil pressure guage. The one I installed originally decided to become a oil sight glass last weekend, dripping oil on my new floorboard paint.
I learned something new today. All these years I never knew some gauges have a zero reset for the needle. I bought it secondhand for $8. The bezel and case were mint other than the needle was stuck at 20psi. While looking at the back I saw a "0" stamped on the case next to a small tab. I pryed the tab up and saw what appeard to be a spring loaded button. I figured I had nothing to loose so naturally I pressed on it with a pick and "shazam"! The needle zero'd out. I adjusted my FRL to 20psi to check if it was going to stick again. I put the air to it and released. The needle returned to zero . I tested it again giving it air up to 60psi, the needle was dead on 60psi. I released the air flow and the needle again returned to zero. Groovy. It is a better lookingr guage as well, with the right era SW lettering. Only drawback is it is not backlit, but the numerals look like they may glow in the dark. I can always install a red pilot light in the dash near the gauge for light I will post a pic in my album.
