Hi guys it has been awhile since I have posted. I can't believe how reliable these trucks are. I just charged some batteries the other day and threw them in my dump truck and about six rotations and she fired right up. she has been stored for about two years. Mind you after the smoke cleared and the mouse house removed it self from the muffler she ran great. I sold all my "newer" cars so I had to drive the old girl. I think the carb is acting up sometimes she will not come off idle and of course it usually happens at a stop sign!!! two days in a row I have driven it to work. The guys here were checking it out yesterday and found I had two little passengers in the glove box so I had to catch them and let them out. Love these old rigs....

good omen
Ed,
glad to hear it, I can't wait to be able to drive mine to work. Mine started right up on the very first crank without any hesitation after sitting all winter and me forgetting to do anything smart like add fuel stabilizer or remove the batteries. Indomitable!

Thanks you two. It is pretty cool driving it to work. stoppin for coffee always turns into a converstaion and the thumbs up. Only thing is people still like to drive faster than the old girl cal but oh well that is there loss not mine. I am never in a hurry going to work anyways...
