A little off topic... I fixed my LCD flat panel TV!
If you have a LCD,or plasma that just takes forever to turn on,or won't turn on,I have an easy fix that you can do yourself. Anybody have any problems?

TV fix..
I was gonna say a nice 1 3/4 oz #4 turkey load would fix any troublesome tv. That and a shovel......
Put it out front with a for sale sign for $5 when people stop to ask what's wrong with it say " nothing... BUT it's haunted, and I selling it before someone gets killed"

I would rather do a 32 round mag dump from the UZI at center mass and then go out and get a bigger flat screen TV. But thats just me.

I feel your pain Chunk, the dreaded dead caps in the switchmode psu fault LOL
I spend a good part of my time fixing electronics and the trend in the last few years here is switchmode power supplies crammed in anything that is mains powered, problem being they are being constructed in cheaper manners and some are even potted in resin so they are a PITA to get to and fix plus they create more RF hash than ever. I may have to pack up and move to the country to get away from it (pity I can't afford to LOL)
Take Care
