GOOD IDEA: Cutting a piece of foam rubber to put in my passenger seat back to fill it in and smooth it out.

BAD IDEA: Forgetting to remove your new seat cover from under the foam rubber before you take the razor knife to the foam to cut it

Enough said....

Oh yes, I muttered a few explatives...

I had already had one of those days and should not have touched any projects.

The bright side is that it was not a custom piece but an NOS I picked up at a reasonable price. Still it was a stupid mistake that cost me $.I ordered another cover and should be safe as I have the foam already cut. I will keep the razor knife far away from the new one.

Oh man sorry to hear that....Don't know if it's any help, but been there done that many times....thought it's usually leather that I'm messing up.
