On the G838.org site (M151s which I visit as that was my first MV and you never forget your first love) this was posted by a fella in Pakistan. As I looked at them I knew they were not US M37s so I thought they might be JDFs.
Any thoughts?

They do look like a M37 knock-off, someone here should be an expert on the Japanese version.
What is interesting, look at the number of lug nuts on the wheels, they look like a 20" rim off a WWII Chev's and GMC's. Tom

Hiya, y'all!
What the picture shows is the Japan Self Defense Forces home built version of a M37, manufactured by Nissan (if I'm recalling correctly). I don't remember if its 3/4 ton or only 1/2 ton. I have a book (somewhere) that would probably have some info on it. I did a cursory web search but didn't find anything.
