Black out lights

Post by dman »

My blackout lights work well but the lenses are scratched and hazed up. Is it possible to get new lenses to put on the new lights? If so who sells them? Thanks

Lenses

Lenses are around. The problem is that the die cast edges that are crimped over to hold them in will crack off when you try to bend them back again after putting the new lens in. I have NOS front marker light doors for $20 ea. complete.

I found you can remove the lenses and run em on a bench grinder with a buffer wheel and they look like new unless the scratches are deep, removes the fogging nicely, I have done mutt and ww2 lites this way :D
