Is the windshield glass and frame that folds out on the M37 the same as the piece that folds out on a M35? I have a chance to buy some new M35 windows complete with new glass, frames, and molding and I was told it would fit the M37, but before I put my money down I want to know for sure and not just getting told that by someone wanting to make a sale.
My glass is busted and the frames are rusty and the molding shot, so this would be a cheeper and easier part of the restoration than repairing what I have.
Thanks
Joe

Glass.
I have heard also that the windshield frames and glass are interchangeable with the M35, however please don't guote me on that!
I know a place here locally (CSI Inc.) that has them new for 135.00 each I think. I got mine from them several years ago and I think they said they were foreign made is all I remember but they fit and work well. Mine were pretty shot too and it makes a big difference with the new frames and such, looks good. I would imagine that with shipping these would be roughly the same as your price then you have to worry about getting broken in shippment. (not sure if your price included shipping or if it was a local purchase?) I would shop around, prices vary a good bit sometimes.
If you want to call CSI Inc. they are in Tallapoosa GA, you should be able to google that and find them to confirm price and ask about shipping.

Our wholesaler that all the vendors use has them. These assemblies are of good quality, made in Korea. Fit M37, 2 1/2 ton, 5 ton, & 10 ton M Series trucks. I think Bruce is more in line with his price, I just got a new price guide yesterday. Been coming about every 3 months as prices of everything are rising regularly. I don't believe the $135 figure is good anymore unless someone has had some on the shelf for years & hasn't paid attention to the increases. I'll have to check the new guide, wouldn't be surprised if the $160 figure is also out of style now days.

Trident Auto-Tech
A while back I stumbled onto this site, (01/02) Trident Auto-Tech, they are gone now, but they were the Korean manufactured one's very nice.
Henry and his partner are gone now, they were good people to deal with. Kurt went and checked them out as they were in SoCal.
