I've added a photo album!

Post by Tim Powell »

Hey Crew. I have added a photo album to the Photo Gallery. I gave up (for now) trying to add pictures to the comments section. I even had some fine tutoring from several Members!! I'm a way better Truckdriver than computer operator, trust me! All for now!

Tim,
Great shots. When I brought mine home I also had a view out of the hotel window of my rig. I could not take enough pictures either. I see you used the special "high capicity" U-Haul M37 trailer :D
Did you get that truck off eBay? Seems I recall seeing it there? I remember the Beeman Fire Dept. on the door.
Nice looking truck.

Found another truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by Tim Powell »

I did buy my truck from a Fellow who had it listed on E-Bay. There is quite a story behind the sale of the truck, but I'll not go into it on this forum.
I went over to Illinois this morning and found another M37 for sale!! WOW, is all I can say. This rig is ready to go! WOW, did this Guy ever do a stand-up job on his truck. I'm going to call him just to ask why it's for sale?? I took pictures if anybody is looking to buy another one! Drop me a line! I have already been told I am not allowed to purchase it!!
timpowell319@msn.com for pictures!!

I see I've acquired a "Stripe" by my name? How or why does this happen?? My Father spent 40 years Military, I am ashamed to say I never joined. I hope I've not mislead anyone.

Re the stripe: after making so many posts, you get "promoted." When I made my 1,000th post, I was "promoted to "first sergeant." I also belong to the Steel Solldiers forum (steelsoldiers.com), where I'm a 4-star general. Guess I'm something of a motor-mouth. Either that, or an opinionated old fart! ;)

Who was the guy in Illinois with an M37 for sale? I knew of 3 others (besides mine) before I moved down here to GA. The ones I knew about were all at the far north or far south ends of the state except for one in Aledo, which was about 50 miles from me.
