Nice, Nice M37 on Ebay

Post by Paul (in NH) »

:D What a nice solid truck. Wish shipping was more reasonable or the truck was closer. Somebody out west will get a nice truck.

Well fellows, pictures look decent, price is good at $2,200 when I looked at it. BUT, I've seen so many people who got burned severely buying sight unseen on ebay, it doesn't excite me at all. I've been sent photos that looked every bit as good as these, but what did the product really look like upon delivery. A pretty good pile of junk with a new owner sitting along side it with tears in his eyes. You may take this as me just being sarcastic, but it's still true.

REAL GOOD ADVICE: If you can't inspect it in person & know what you are looking for when you do; DON'T BUY IT!!

nice truck

Post by xm708 »

I never thought I would say it but I have to agree with charles on this one. I had somebody wanting to buy a truck from me sight unseen except for pictures for 1500 it was a winch truck and was complete and it had some rust issues. The pics showed a decent truck but a man from CA wanted it without even seeing it and I would not sell to him he was willing to pay 1500 and then 1500 to ship from VT to CA I just couldn't do it. I think the truck on ebay is very clean but ed no see it ed no buy it..

Shipping as truck

Post by SydneyM37 »

If someone wanted to buy a truck for my asking price sight unseen, i'd bloddy well sell it to them.
Just write your receipt for "as is".

As for me, i bought and shipped an M37 from Tennessee USA to Sydney Australia.

So i don't need to hear people within the same country whine about shipping
i'm being light hearted here folks- smile on my face)
,

f you want it , get it, if us guys on an M37 forum can't tell a good deal from a bad one, then who can.

ps, when the shipping container opened after it's voyage by sea, i was stoked ,and still am $25,000 later.

SydneyM37,
Could you explain to me how difficult it was to get your truck titled in your country, was it a problem with a Tennesse title?
I am trying to help a fellow M owner that lives in Spain get his truck titled.

Thanks Gregg
