It's a Packard sedan, two door in fairly nice shape. It was going to be buttoned up and sent onto its new owner.
(Momma, who was with me said **NO**. Not only NO, but HELL_NO_FATBOY_NO!!!)
Pics at Webshots show a few more of the car.
Thing I dig about living inland Oregon is our desert climate, heck on paint and plastic, but nothing but patina-like rust. Little to no cancers in body and coachworks.
Packard was like that, clean, and ready to be repainted and upholstered..

Kevin. That's pretty much like it is here in Tucson. My truck was out here most of its life and is almost rust free no rot or cancer at all. When I look at some of the rust that guys are dealing with it makes me glad to be a desert rat.
