Cargo Cover - Supports

Post by dstrausb1 »

Hi. I'm a newbee to the list. Been reading for a while, this is my first attempt at a post.
I've decided to put a cargo cover on my M37 and am looking for some opinions with respect to the supports. My truck has the troop seats but no bows. I've noticed that it is possible to buy a complete bow kit or just the corner angles. Has anyone out there just bought the angles and made all of the wood parts? Are there many other bits and pieces that you have to recognize and come up with if you don't buy the complete kit? Is there a set of specificatons available that lists all of the wood piece dimensions and a list of fasteners and their dimensions?
Any views or guidance would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks,
Dan

Garbee's website has the wood info.

Fastner specs - probably in the manuals.

Cabell Garbee has this posted on his website and are the directions I used when I cut the wood for the cargo bed.

We have some bow corners if you want to furnish your own wood.

Thanks for the feed back guys. This forum is definately a helpful, encouraging place. The truck wouldn't be near as much fun without it.
Thanks,
Dan
