MVPA HQ CLOSED...

I received an email to that effect-too bad mismanagement and dwindling membership forced its closure.

Just wondering out loud what this means for the local clubs. Many of them require a membership in MVPA before becoming a member of a local club.

I've been a member of 2 local clubs affiliated with the MVPA. I've never been asked or required to join the MVPA.
I've looked at what benefit they offered vs the dues they charged and couldn't even remotely justify joining.
And MVPA policies are in large part why there are 3 clubs where there used to be one here.

The National has never been supportive of any Mv's after WW2. :(

I tend to agree, PoW but it looks like the new group is more open to different era vehicles.
