Slave Cable Wire Routing

I am wondering if anyone could tell me the route the + wire travels from the plug to the starter? Does it route up along the dimmer switch and along the firewall? Any guidance is appreciated.

From OMM Fig 2-11 page 2-25 it looks like it runs up the dimmer switch and then unsupported over in front of the shock and over the steering column to the starter.
page 2-35 fig. 2-26 gives some instructions then refers to fig 2-11.
