Is the winch on an M715 the same as the one for the M37? I have one and I am trying to find out if I can use it on my M37.
Thank you!

Re: Winch question
Physical winch is the same. The mounting brackets may not be. There are 4 brackets. 2 large ones on the sides and 2 small ones on the front.
"It may be ugly, but at least it is slow!"
Re: Winch question
Just me is correct. It's the Braden LU-4 model if you needed that.

Re: Winch question
Vintage Power Wagon sells the front brackets, the "winch to bumper brackets", as well as the frame extensions and other winch parts for the M37. I don't see the side brackets mentioned in their online catalog (which I guess would be the "winch to frame brackets").
see M37 Winch page of VPW's online catalog
Midwest Military sells winch and PTO parts, but I don't see the brackets mentioned in their online catalog either.
If you need the other brackets as well, it's worth a call to either one of them to see what they have that might not have made it in to their catalog yet.
