I just got a new canvas top and need to know the best way to run the rope on the back grommets to the tie downs on the body. I got it tied down but it doesn't look as neat as I think it should. It seems like there should be more tie downs.

The cabs came with different numbers of tie-downs. I do not know why, but know what you're talking about. I think I added 3 extras to mine in order to clean up the look.

Thanks Cal Gary for the reply. More tie downs would help a lot. I don't have the racks on my truck so they're always visible except behind the spare tire mounted in the bed. Joe

Great post, I've seen many different attempts to tie them off correctly with a multitude of knots involved, the diagram above is the way that I learned and still use to this day.
