Tis a sad day as another of the M37 stalwarts has passed on...
Carters Wife Sandy posted on Facebook that Carter passed away in his sleep on the 19th of July, anyone with an account can place well wishes in the comments and for anyone close enough the funeral arrangements are available.

Dang. Super nice guy and knowledgeable. Met him at Aberdeen a couple of times. Loved his heavy snow m37 plowing pics/stories. He had it down to a science.
So sorry to hear about Carter's passing. He was very knowledgeable about the M37. I made up a snow plow mount based on his and it has served me well. Condolences to his wife and family. Joe
Carter will be missed. I always read his posts and appreciate that he was happy to share his extensive knowledge of the M37 and adventures he had with them. Condolences to his family.
Another pillar of the community heads to the motorpool in the sky. He will be missed.

Our M37 and the community is sadly missing a true gentleman in this hobby. Although I never met him in person we emailed and conversed on the phone once or twice. He was always supportive of my endeavors and throughout the restoration of my truck. He will be missed.
Prayers and condolences to Sandy and the family. As Gary said we will see him again. What a gathering that t big "MV Rally in the Sky" Will be. I will toast him this evening.
